Andrew, “The Captain”, is not only a nautical man who spends most of his time with boats, from paddling them to fixing them; he is also a Program Facilitator. You can also find the Captain working on the high ropes course or ready to help you at the “Phoenix” (climbing wall/rappel tower). He has been in working in the Outdoor field since 2006, starting as a Rafting Guide for Grand River Rafting. Captain also worked as an Outdoor Educator for the Grand River Conservation Authority, Tim Horton’s Children’s Foundation and now at Bark Lake. Amongst his working career, he received his an Outdoor Adventure and Education Diploma from Sir Sandford Fleming College. He is a certified as a Basic Canoe Instructor, ACCT level 2 practitioner and Wilderness First Responder.
