Dana is a program facilitator with an educational background is in biology with a Master in Ecology, Conservation and Management of Wildlife. Amongst the sunny beaches and deep jungles of the tropics, Dana was a professor at Universidade de Ouro Preto in Brazil teaching evolution, ecology and ecosystems. She also managed a beautiful 6.66 ha nature reserve in the heart of the Atlantic Forest right before moving to Canada. Here she has her first experience with real winter: building quinzhees, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, and many other fun activities! Now her goal is to share the excitement she has about Canada with all of our visitors.
On her spare time, Dana travels, learns new languages and teaches salsa dancing and will definitely try and get you to join her!
