Sandra

Program Facilitator

plantSandra thrives off of experiencing nature with others and has been working as a Program Facilitator for the past couple of years. With a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from York University, and an Ecosystem Management Technology Diploma from Sir Sandford Fleming College, she desires to pursue environmental education so that others can share her passion with her. Sandra has received facilitator training with Project WILD, volunteered and participated in environmental and outdoor education based conferences, has been certified as a Wilderness First Responder and has spent several years running scout groups and camps.

Camping is Sandra’s thing any time of year. She loves outdoor activities such as canoeing, kayaking, snowboarding and cross-country skiing. Her next endeavours will be to learn how to longboard and play the ukulele! She loves to travel and has done so around Europe and South America, but her favourite adventure was her camping trip across Canada!
