Bark Lake Leadership Centre will be hiring people with Lifeguard certifications for the upcoming late spring/summer seasons.
The waterfront will be open from May to mid-October.  Staff Training- May 30th-June 3rd.  Work all or part of the summer.

Competitive pay scale based on Education, Qualifications & Experience. $90-130/day + R&B.
Police Record Check required.
You will utilize the highest standards of Safety, Risk Management and discretion to guide our guests through a fantastic season of Adventure Recreation, Leadership and Outdoor Education experiences in the splendour of Bark Lakes’ pristine beauty.

Minimum qualifications:
2+ full seasons of outdoor recreation, adventure pursuits, education, sports, camp staff or related experience.
Current Standard First Aid (CPR –C) certificate
Post Secondary Education (in process)
Current and acceptable Police Record Check
Relevant soft skills in customer service and youth/adult interaction…Must like young people!
Preferred qualifications:
National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Waterfront qualifications
Red Cross Lifeguard or Bronze Cross, Instructor status qualifications
Challenge Course Certifications – ACCT Levels 1 or 2
Wilderness Advanced First Aid, Wilderness First Responder, Wilderness Paramedic
Fluency in: Cantonese, Mandarin, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Korean, Italian, Japanese, French or Swahili
