Course Description

We are very excited that you’re interested in joining us for this workshop. The purpose of this course is to provide a provincial certification of competence in the instruction and administration of ORCKA Basic Canoeing Level Courses. This course is the foundation for all other Instructor levels.

During the course you will cover the following content:

• Safety
• Receive ongoing canoeing skills assessment and evaluation
• Practice Teaching
• Learning theory and information
