Arts & Crafts
This program provides participants with a physical take-away from their Bark Lake experience, crafted by their own hands, as well as a space for creative expression and a bit of downtime. Arts & Crafts sessions are malleable in that they can be structured to suit the needs of your group. Options include craft tutorials in which participants will be led through each step of a chosen project, open arts sessions, or nature crafts which take participants outside. Also available at an additional cost are professionally run workshops by local artists in areas such as moccasin, paddle, and drum making. If there is an arts activity you would like your group to partake in during your stay, let us know. If you can dream it, we can do it.
Facilitator-run programming can include:
- Dream Catchers
- Plaster of Paris Mask Making
- Beading Work
- ‘Peteccas’ or ‘Funderbirds’
