WANT TO MAKE A DAY OF IT? – Traditional Aboriginal Drum Making Workshop (opens in a new window)
Drumming has been a central feature across many cultures throughout the history of humanity.
In this workshop the focus will be on Traditional North American Aboriginal drumming and the role it plays in ritual and ceremony. You will craft your own wild whitetail deerskin drum stretched over a 14 inch Canadian Spruce Wood frame. Workshop will also include an intimate storytelling/aboriginal musical-performance with David Finkle and Laura Leonard.
